Six Streets is a vibrant volunteer-run community group, set up by people living in this area, to enhance the lives of local residents.

We aim to encourage neighbourliness and friendship and to reduce social isolation.

The core area is Bromley Street, Wheeldon Avenue, Statham Street, White Street, Park Grove, Parkfields Drive and the linking part of Kedleston Road.

We are an independent, not-for-profit, non-political and non-religious group.

HALLOWEEN IN SIX STREETS
Friday, 31st October - 5pm - 7pm

On Friday 31st October Six Streets will help to make this a safer event for Six Street younger residents and a calm evening for those who do not want to partake.

This year we plan to have notices in windows for those houses who want to offer Tricks or Treats and also some Six Streets competitions - most creative or attractive pumpkin, most sustainably Halloween-decorated house (home made/re-use/recycle rather than shop bought).

There will be refreshments available – Buy a samosa/mince pie and get a drink of mulled wine/fruit punch for free.
Venue: 112 Kedleston Rd garden from 7pm onwards. Please bring a little cash with you.

Please note this is an event for Six Streets neighbours and children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
Please take great care of extra traffic in the area due to street works/diversions.

REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR

Find a list of suggested items here

A lovely initiative to try and get more Christmas food to those Derby residents in need.
It runs for 25 days from November 7th to December 1st. We take a box (children can decorate this) and for 25 days we add 1 item to the box.
