Derby City Council has cancelled/postponed all events in park so it’ll be a year before the Easter Bunny comes to Darley Park (he is in isolation at 54 Wheeldon Ave and would appreciate a wave as you go by!)
but
there is a “global” Easter Trail round Six Streets area
The first clue is on the donations page. There are posters at 10 sites across the area with a clue on each so that you can find the next one. (though if you take a photo of each one as you find them along with where they are, it does simplify things!)
This is a fundraiser for local food banks to help those hitting tough times due to Covid19 pandemic. Many working families are facing weeks without income so we are asking for donations. All money raised will go to the new Food Hubs being set up by Derby City Council as the two groups are meeting the cost of the trail.
Once you have found all the posters and sorted them into order, you can enter the Prize Draw! Entry details on donation page.
If you have a problem with the link above https://www.gofundme.com/f/strutt039s-park-amp-six-streets-easter-charity-trail
It will be available until Friday 17th to allow people to follow the trail without any risk of breaching social distancing. Please do it as part of your Daily Exercise.
Only go round in household groups. Please do not drive to access trail - if you live closer to Strutt’s Park, stroll round there to take part.
Also remember (who can forget these days?) to wash hands before and after taking part. If you have run out of sanitiser, you can use liquid soap and a bottle of water to wash hands on the move! Avoid touching surfaces and your face.
