World Clean-up Day - Six Streets be involved on Saturday 20 September
A UN worldwide event - the campaign's goal is to engage 5% of the global population in raised awareness and collective action against the worldwide waste crisis, with participation invited from individuals, communities, and organizations around the world.
At 6 Streets we would like to invite those residents who would like to be involved in this to:
Join neighbours on your street in a collective sweep up of leaves, crab apples, any other waste - Sat 20 Sept anytime between 10 - 11am
12 - 1pm Join neighbours for an informal byo coffee and sandwich lunch on West Bank Avenue green (if nice weather) and in Point Six if not
Join neighbours to prune and collect litter in the Broadway/West Bank Avenue and Bromley Street/Wheeldon Avenue footpaths - Sat 20 Sept between 2 - 3pm
Please bring your own rake, brush, brown/black bin, secateurs, gardening gloves, sense of humour and anything else which might be handy.
