Six Street History wins National Award

Diane Moss represented the Local History Network when she went to London to collect the Most Innovative Community Archive and Heritage Group Award from the Community Archives and Heritage Group

They were up against tough competition from all across the country but the judges loved the 2011 Mini Census project being particularly impressed by the outstanding sign up rate achieved as well as the feedback given to current residents.

This award is well deserved and goes some way to recognise the dedicated efforts and many hours of data handling put in by Ruth Sykens (extreme left) Chris Newman, Diane Moss, Chris Johnson (right of photo) as well as the  late Joan O'Higgins.
