This cupboard normally has standard foodbank items on its shelves and the Six Streets collection adds to the stock so the Red Cross can support vulnerable people across Derby.

But on Sunday morning, it was empty - just bare shelves. This delivery of donations from Six Streets contributors will make a huge difference to those in need.

It is being reported that the supermarkets and other standard sources are returning to giving to foodbanks after recent disruption caused by the covid19 panic buying.
