Information from Council Walkabout

The councillors confirmed that car club leaflets will be delivered shortly now that the car club bays are operating. The bays are at the bottom of Wheeldon Ave and on Kedleston Rd, just past Arthur Hind Close. Despite the decision to allow the scheme to settle in before being advertised, the number has begun to rise. The council has had some positive feedback. One reason for the chargers on Statham and White Streets being so very large is to improve accessibility for drivers with disabilities. There is also the point that residents requested at the public consultation that vehicles wouldn’t have to park for hours to recharge. So those chargers are rapid ones.

The “paddling pool” pothole on White St was brought to their attention.
