Parking

Parking is limited in the core Six Streets area, free on street parking is readily available on Broadway, West Bank Avenue & Highfield Road. Please do not park across dropped kerbs as this restricts access for wheelchair users and those with buggies.

If you park on Broadway, then the two shortcuts, Newton’s Walk and the path close to Broadfields Close, are the quickest routes to Six Streets area.

Wheelchair Access

Broadway Baptist Church (map) and Markeaton Primary School (map) are wheelchair accessible but unfortunately, due to the nature of the trail, many other venues have very limited access.

Number 69 Wheeldon Avenue has good wheelchair access

The Community Exhibition at St Alkmunds Church (map) is also wheelchair accessible

Toilets with disabled access are located at Broadway Baptist Church (map), St Alkmund’s Church ( map) and Markeaton Primary School (map)
